Current Releases
The 2022 Pinot Noirs are just being released now starting with our Wildcat Mountain and On Point Sonoma Coast Pinot. 2022 Was very different from 2021. The 2022 harvest was cool for most of the year, but then a heat wave came in early September to push ripening quickly and intensely. The result is a bigger and richer Pinot Noir versus 2021. You see, the 2021 harvest was marked by a cool spring, warm summer temperatures followed by a cool harvest with spots of rain. It was hard to believe this is California and not Oregon! All the 2021 and 2022 wines are balanced, but still have to core of rich fruit that our style is characterised by. We used minimal-intervention winemaking practices, avoiding unnecessary additions or manipulation. These wines also have an extremely low levels of sulfur added. Our vineyards use sustainable and when possible organic farming practices. We hope you love them. We do!
